A Garden in Performance — Sharing Our Creation

It’s time to put all our pieces together! We’ll install our designs in the garden and rehearse a short scene as a group. Everyone has a role, whether you help direct, act, design, or support. Invite your friends and neighbors to experience the world we’ve built — a joyful celebration of art, plants, and people working together. No theater experience needed, just curiosity and a love for gardens and stories!

NYC Parks GreenThumb hosts this event. We are proud to be the nation’s most extensive urban community gardening program, sustaining over 550 gardens throughout New York City. With GreenThumb’s support, community gardens are centers of environmental justice, ensuring that our city is fairer, safer, and greener for all. GreenThumb’s events are free and open to the public.
