Hallets Cove Free Community Walkup Kayaking
Saturday, July 26th, 2025 | 1pm – 4pm

LIC Community Boathouse offers free kayaking from Socrates’ beach at Hallet’s Cove (enter at 31-10 Vernon Blvd). Weather permitting. No prior boating experience required, equipment is provided. First come, first served. All ages welcome, minors (under 18 yrs.) must have a parent/guardian present. Please check LIC Community Boathouse Instagram STORIES the morning of each program in the event of cancellation. Volunteers, please sign up here to let us know which dates and times you can volunteer.

About LIC Community Boathouse:
LIC Community Boathouse provides residents and visitors with educational and recreational paddling opportunities. Our programs raise awareness about estuary ecology, supporting the goal of restoring the natural beauty and health of New York Harbor for all to enjoy.
