Art in the Parks: Celebrating 50 Years
This year, NYC Parks is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its Art in the Parks program. Since its creation in 1967, Art in the Parks has featured over 2,000 works of art, including Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s The Gates, Alexander Calder’s mobiles, and Nari Ward’s sculptures, making New York City one of the world’s largest open-air galleries. Celebrate art in the parks by visiting over 50 of our most exciting happenings this year!
