Edgecombe Avenue Garden Park Sanctuary
The garden was reborn in 1996 when community residents took the initiative to restore it and labored to have it become an ornamental garden under the jurisdiction of Greenthumb. Since then, Edgecombe Avenue Garden Park Sanctuary has served the community as a calming space to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature, as well as an outdoor classroom and workshop space. As community members and neighbors, our mission is simple yet essential: we are dedicated to the ongoing redevelopment, expansion, and beautification of Edgecombe Avenue Garden Sanctuary. We believe that everyone in our community deserves access to safe, beautiful, and tranquil green spaces that improve their quality of life, promote community engagement, and provide gardeners with a place to learn and cultivate their skills.
