Summer on the Hudson: The Powers of Horror and Everlasting
Sunday, September 28, 2025
5:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m.
This event repeats every day between 9/27/2025 and 9/28/2025.
The Powers of Horror and Everlasting is a site-specific dance performance that explores abjection, loss, fragmentation, and longing as sites and thresholds of possibility. The dance performance looks to the materiality of the performer’s bodies to investigate the fullness of living by utilizing a choreography of collective grief and hope through encounters with the natural world. The work includes an intergenerational cast with Courtney Cooke, Leslie Cuyjet, Ishmael Houston-Jones, Rebecca Pantano, Raquel Rodriguez, Kayla Ricketts, Emily Wexler and sound musician Kingsley Ibeneche.
