Due to construction on the Tide Gate Bridge, located on Meridian Road within Flushing Meadows Corona Park, vehicular traffic will not be allowed to cross the bridge in either direction. Please follow posted detour signs around Meridian Road and plan for additional travel time. Pedestrian traffic will still be permitted to cross the bridge.

It will incorporate resistance band exercises, light dumbbell movements, and yoga mat stretches to enhance daily movement patterns, prevent injuries, and build a solid fitness base.

Participants will engage in calisthenics that enhance endurance and footwork drills that will keep them moving fast and safe when playing sports. This program is for youth ages 6 to 13.

Come learn, play, and compete in Flag Football at Al Oerter. NYC Parks is hosting clinics, leagues, and tournaments for girls and boys. The NYC Parks Instructional Clinics begin in July and run through August, focusing on drills and strategies. This is a pre-season open clinic focusing on teaching the sport of Flag Football and preparing players for the upcoming Flag Football League.

This clinic is for the 10U and 12U age brackets. Children must be between 8 and 12 years old to participate. For more information, contact Coach Anthony at (718) 353-7853 or email Anthony.Hackett@parks.nyc.gov.
